Please avoid scheduling holidays, trips, or meetings based on estimated transit times because Swifty Car Transport does not guarantee collection or delivery times.

    9. Vehicle Collection

Every booking made through Swifty Car Transport is unique in some way. We demand a minimum of 3 business days' notice when collecting vehicles from metropolitan doors. Although it could change, we make every effort to have your car picked up during this time. Additional notice will be needed for rural collections. The desired collection date does not guarantee a time or date for your reservation. Before collection, one of our load planners or fleet controllers will contact you to choose a date and slot of time.

    10. Vehicle(S) Collection from The Depot

Vehicles that have been delivered to a depot must be picked up within three business days after arrival. Vehicles that are not picked up within this window might be charged daily storage costs.

    11. Automobile collection from auction houses

Auction vehicles must be in good condition and free of dents and damage. The service should be re-quoted if the car invoice indicates any type of write-off or shows any damage because the prices established do not take written-off or damaged cars into account. You must give us this information while booking the service. If not provided, we may cancel the service. Additionally, after a booking is made, all necessary supporting papers for collecting a car from an auction house must be provided before collection.

    12. Changes in Bookings

Any requests for changes to a reservation must be made in writing and sent to info@pslogistics.com.au. The administrative fees for your service may increase because of changes made after a booking has been confirmed and information has been given to you.

    13. Vehicle Damage

According to the Corporations Act of 2001 (Cth), P&S Logistics does not organize or provide insurance for any of its goods or services and does not possess an Australian Financial Services License. This includes any loss or harm to personal items left in the vehicle as well as any harm the presence of such items causes to the vehicle, all of which is done at your own risk. You acknowledge that P&S Logistics is acting as your agent to secure the best pricing and service for you when you use our service. If the carrier is deemed to have been careless and damaged your vehicle during transit, the carrier will give an accidental transit guarantee. Claims MUST be submitted directly to the carrier for approval. Within 24 hours of picking up the car, submit a written claim to info@pslogistics.com.au There could be an additional fee. Without the carrier's written consent, no repairs may be made. Any standard or non-standard motor vehicle accessory that is not permanently attached to the vehicle, such as number plates, antennas, bulbar, awnings, roof racks, louvres, rain shields, bonnet protectors, bug protectors, sunshades, additional lights and/or sirens, or other vehicle accessories, is not covered by the carrier's insurance policy.

In any event, carriers do not provide coverage for already damaged or undrivable vehicles. Vehicles with a market value of more than $80,000 or older than 30 years old are not covered. Additionally, the carrier is not responsible for any window damage, hidden defects, mechanical or electrical damage, derangement that may occur in vehicles being transported, loss or damage brought on by or connected to a Force Majeure Event, or any other damages or losses. A "Force Majeure Event" is defined as any circumstance beyond a party's reasonable control that results in delays or inability to fully or partially carry out any obligations, including, but not limited to, fire, flood, drought, hail, storm, lightning, earthquake, wildlife impact, act of God, peril of sea or air, explosion, sabotage, accident, embargo, pandemic or epidemic, accident, road or rail closures, road works, breakdown of equipment or infrastructure and rail derailment. 14. Cancellations

Phone calls to cancel a booking are not accepted. All cancellations must be done in written form. Depending on the specifics of the cancellation, we reserve the right to tack on a fee ranging from $120.00 to $195.00. It is in addition to fees for giving inaccurate information at the time of booking. The processing of a refund can take up to 5 business days.
A futile cost will be added to the cancellation fee if:

  • Booking is not canceled in written form
  • Booking canceled with less than 48 hours' notice, and
  • A carrier has visited the collection site
  • In the case of a metropolitan collection, this fee would range from $150 to $300, and if the pickup was intended to take place outside of the city, it could reach the full transport service fee. The carrier has the right to charge you the full transportation fees if the vehicle has been picked up and a space on the truck has been reserved for it, and you decide to cancel for any reason. It is because they won't be able to rebook that space.
